Laurynas is a functional programming and DevOps enthusiast. He works at iGeolise, where he helps build the TravelTime platform, an API that makes maps searchable by time. He’s experienced in all aspects of software development and can be found constantly switching between programming and infrastructure automation tasks. In his free time he loves to play video games and participate in various combat sports.

Practical Application Logging and Monitoring

Application logging is a difficult thing to get right. The talk will focus on how to do application logging and manage logs using the ELK stack and some other tools to help diagnose problems faster, especially in distributed applications. We will also cover the importance of capturing various application metrics and setting up dashboards to view and analyze captured data.
