Do you feel trapped in Project Plan Prison? Do you have to report to the Project Warden about meaningless milestones to give him or her the illusion of control? Is the project plan is based on naive and idealised assumptions, so that you have to dig a tunnel to escape from fantasy to do the real work?
Much IT work is too unpredictable to be described in detail in project plans. Things just happen, so we have to experiment. This is a natural characteristic of the Complex Adaptive Systems that we increasingly have to deal with.

While almost all organizations are undertaking a digital transformation and have a digital strategy, there is a huge skill gap to deliver the technology and update the processes in today’s IT organizations. According to Gartner “70% of employees have not mastered the skills they need for their jobs today, and 80% lack the skills needed for both their current role and their future career.”

Observability is More than Logs, Metrics & Traces You know the drill: DevOps is using tool(s) X. So obviously, observability can be solved by throwing some tools together as well; generally logs, metrics, and traces often called the pillars of observability.
